There are some common cat illnesses and many new ones joining an ever expanding list. I don’t believe this trend is an expression of the truth, of what is really happening, or of observing natural laws. Instead I believe the trend of creating new cat illnesses is all about misunderstanding the truth and creating fear.
Once people are frightened, you can make them do pretty much anything. You have control over them. And that means you can make lots of money out of them. Sadly, the more control people have over you, the less you are likely to hear the truth.
I am here to try to empower you with the truth. Empowered people are not easily frightened or controlled. Everyone benefits, except the extortionists, which is how it should be. You know what to do, your cat is healthier. So is your bank balance.
The first thing most people do when confronted with an ailing cat is to take them to a veterinarian. A diagnosis will follow, usually with recommendations for further tests, with drugs or with surgery, all accompanied by a hefty bill, which many people can ill afford.
Is this really the best thing you can, or should, do?
Supposing the real cause of cat illnesses and symptoms was much simpler? Suppose your vet had never received any training in looking for causes? Aren’t you then either wasting your money and/or putting your cat through needless and often damaging procedures?
One of the most important aspects of anybody’s health, including that of your cat, is their diet. Consider your car for a moment. If you put diesel in a car that ran on unleaded fuel, would you expect it to work? If you tried, most likely you would ruin the engine.
In a way, this means that your car mechanic has more common sense in looking for causes of problems than does your vet. Vets have not received any independent training in cat nutrition. All their training comes from the commercial cat food industry. To confirm this, check out their waiting rooms. Those that aren’t packed from floor to ceiling with their recommended commercial pet food, are few and far between.
Yet, nutrition is the key to health. Unless your cat receives species-specific, natural, quality and nutritious food daily, they WILL develop new and ever more exotic diseases, along with the common ones, which can cost you a fortune in veterinary bills.
This is wonderful news for the vet and for the drug companies. Not such good news for your cat or you. I am sure this is why many cats are abandoned.
A cat illness MUST develop, sooner or later, from nutrition insufficiency and/or from inappropriate food. The commercial pet food industries care very little about the health of your cat. They care a lot more about their profits. This isn’t a conspiracy. It’s a fact of life.
This means if you are not in charge of the diet (and health care) of your cat, that if you are leaving this incredibly important aspect of a responsible care giver to a corporation, your cat is heading for a crisis.
It really doesn’t matter which organ or body part is affected. It really doesn’t matter what veterinary label your cat receives. It really doesn’t matter what the symptoms your cat is expressing. If the food you feed your cat is a (even a so called ‘quality’) commercial one, then I can almost guarantee that this is the cause of the problem.
It may not be the only cause, but it will be a big part of it. Any cat who is ill will benefit from a healthy, natural, quality, nutritious, species-specific diet. There is a lot to learn about this, but it isn’t difficult to grasp. Or expensive to put into practice. Or if you are looking for specific help for your cat,
