Auto Immune Diseases in Cats

and what you can do to heal them

By Madeleine Innocent

What are auto immune diseases in cats? Why are they so prevalent today? What can you do to prevent them? Are there other options than veterinary treatment?

Auto immune diseases in cats are new diseases. The immune system can no longer do its job of protecting the cat. In effect, it has been destroyed so much, it can no longer function effectively.

Is it possible to reverse this, to heal it?

First let's look at what you're dealing with.

Typical Auto Immune Diseases in Cats

These include hyperthyroidism, stomatitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), pemphigus, bullous pemphigold and more. The list is constantly being added to as the cause is never being addressed.

It's not even being considered by mainstream vets.

The symptoms cover almost all the areas of the body including the musculoskeletal system, the skin, the renal system, the blood and lymphatic system, the nervous system, the endocrine system and the digestive system.

It's truly systemic.

Veterinary Treatment

Because the cause is not being addressed, veterinary treatment consists of making the problem worse. Immunosuppressant drugs are the order of the day, destroying what little was left of the immune system. Life expectancy plummets further.

Look At Health Logically

An auto immune disease in cats (or anyone) is simply a collection of symptoms that show the cat is in a serious, potentially fatal condition.

It's showing the cat has already had ongoing health problems and all these symptoms have been suppressed by veterinary drugs.

The veterinary (and medical) industry works closely with the p-harma companies. This means they have opposing ideals - the vets (and MDs) are supposed to be there for their patients restoring health; the companies are focused on making a profit.

It's impossible to square that one.

The thing is, every single living being wants to survive, and to survive well. We all have a desire to be healthy. We all have a natural and incredibly efficient immune system.

Symptoms are simply messages that the health of your cat is struggling. Something needs attention.

What Destroys The Immune System?

When you're looking for real answers, one of the best places to look is Nature. In this case, what does a wild cat eat? How do they live?

Bear in mind, wild cats are very successful and occupy most of the countries of the world.

Cats are carnivores. Carnivores need animal protein and raw bones.

cat autoimmune diseases

Cats are NOT omnivores. Their system is NOT designed to consume or digest any plant based food.

They do, however, use plants medicinally.

Have a look at the list of ingredients on the food you feed your cat and compare how much is plant based and how much is animal based.

Looking After The Immune System

Logically, what your cat needs is help restoring the health of the immune system.

And that can happen when you switch the diet from a commercial one to a healthy, quality raw meat and bones diet.

Rather like a car, your cat needs the right fuel to run efficiently. Putting the wrong food in your cat is the same as putting the wrong fuel in your car. Neither run well.

Both do a lot better when they have the right fuel/food.

Healing Auto Immune Diseases in Cats

A disease is simply a collection of symptoms, showing the health of your cat is struggling.

Yet vets have been taught to match a disease label with a few drugs. They haven't been taught to look for causes. They haven't been taught to consider the individual and their sensitivities.

Which translates as poor health care. You can't effectively treat someone unless you consider the cause as well as the individual.

When you wider your horizons and look for causes, the solutions become so much easier to see.

ALL cats will benefit from a switch to their natural diet. The benefit may, and often is, highly significant. Others may need extra help.

Homeopathy - an Holistic Health Care System For Everyone

Homeopathic treatment works with the immune system, rather than against it. It supports what it is trying to do. It is holistic. It is gentle. It is powerful.

It can help restore the function of the immune system, along with a healthy, species-specific diet, It can undo the damage done by toxins and veterinary drugs and vaccines.

The combination of a species-specific diet with good homeopathic treatment ensures a healthy cat as well as a healthy bank balance.

Your job is to feed your cat well. Your homeopath's job is to ensure their immune system is kept healthy.

Auto immune diseases in cats can become a thing of the past, a bad nightmare, when the approach is considered and the treatment is holistic.
