Most people who have cats get all the cat vaccinations recommended by their veterinarian. However, these are not the panacea that they are made out to be. And they can cause a great deal of harm. What alternative is there? The answer lies in having a good look at natural cat health.
The common cat vaccinations cover feline respiratory disease (aka cat flu), feline leukemia, feline enteritis, chlamydia and FIV. These are combined into one vaccine called the F5. Another one called F3 is also available which covers just three of the vaccines. This will depend on where you are in the world and what diseases are prevalent.
It is assumed, without any scientific proof, that vaccines prevent diseases. Vaccines have never been tested using the placebo controlled, double blind test that vets and doctors look for, for their proof.
People are easily manipulated through fear. Emotional blackmail is the order of the day. The easiest way to get people to comply with your way of thinking is to accuse them of not caring for their cat, in this case. It could be your child, your dog, your mother. All the same tactics are used.
Vaccines are made by pharmaceutical companies. Their only agenda is profit. And they don’t care how they source this. Sadly, veterinary organisations have bought into this and often, it is a requirement to be a member, to push vaccines.
The idea behind vaccines totally misses the point of how disease prevention works. Natural disease prevention comes from having an immune system in good working order. This is essential. When your cat’s immune system is working well, she will be able to rebuff all and every disease. This is how she managed to evolve to the present day, without any help from vets.
Vaccines work by injecting questionable material directly into the blood stream, not unlike a snake bite. And your cat reacts in exactly the same way. Her body is under threat. Foreign material has been put into her body. Initially, this may stimulate her immune system, but the multiple diseases and the hazardous materials used overwhelm it and lead to suppressing it.
Now your cat has less immunity, not more, than before the vaccine.
Couple this draconian medical procedure with a poor quality diet (as most commercial cat food is, despite who sells it to you, what it says on the packet and how much you paid for it) and you have a cat with a declining immune system as she ages.
Domestic cats used to reach an age of 20 – 30 years. Now, you’re lucky if they reach 10 – 15 years. That’s half their previous life span. This should tell you that something is seriously amiss.
Cat vaccinations are not without serious side effects from behavioural changes, to neurological problems, to cancer, to death. Despite vets assurances, in my opinion, they are not worth the risk.
A far better, healthier, safer and more economical way to prevent diseases in your cat is to ensure her immune system works at its best at all times. You can go a long way to ensuring this happens by feeding her a quality, nutritious, natural cat food diet, made by you, with love.

Vet receptionist just called. Insists I bring in my outrageous healthy kitten that was born and raised here in the jungle for vaccs. I said “let me research this” She was inssistant and told me that if I didn’t vacc, the kitten would get a serious gum disease that could cost him
his life. His step sis had her first vaccs because she was born in the clinic where I adopted her from. They are indoor always, condo, I have Catherine O”Driscols books about vaccines but they are not here yet. Send as much as you can for me to print out and take to the clinic. I admire you for wanting to convert your vet, but don’t be surprised if you are not able to. I have found that mostly they are very fixed in their ideas and you end up feeling frustrated or even doubting yourself. To be a true healer, you must be adaptable, open minded and listen to others. Most conventional vets (and doctors) are not. Catherine O’Driscall’s book is excellent and tells it like it is. Keep researching and never doubt yourself. No-one gets true immunity from vaccines. True immunity comes from good, natural food and happy living conditions. BTW serious gum disease comes from a lack of bones to crunch on. Nothing whatever to do with vaccines.
