Your vet will likely tell you that cat vaccines are essential to protect your cat from a deadly disease. Pressure and emotional blackmail are used will scant regard to the truth. 

Whether individual vets believe this or not is questionable, but they do come under enormous pressure from both the pharmaceutical industries as well as from their professional associations.

Never underestimate the power that pharmaceutical companies carry. Their pockets run deep and they have infiltrated just about every government, every medical school and every medical association in the world. Not to mention mainstream and social media. 

They want to increase profits at any cost and they do this shamelessly. The truth is not an area they want to curry favour with as it decimates sales.

The vets will also tell you that cat vaccines are completely safe with adverse reactions rare. Again, whether they are simply repeating what they have been told, or whether they really believe this, is very individual. 

The experienced vets, who must have seen hundreds if not thousands of cats (and other animals), must have seen a good proportion who suffered with a problem immediately following a vaccine.

The intelligent ones will make a connection, whether or not they admit it. The profit from annual vaccines is gigantic, the mainstay of many a clinic. And publically admitting that connection, in today's political arena, can come at a cost.

It's worth remembering that even those who advocate vaccines tell you they are 'unavoidably unsafe'.

The fact is that vaccine injury is a very real problem in everyone who receives them and they are not rare at all. In a cat, who is by nature good at hiding their emotions, a reaction to a vaccine can so easily be overlooked.

How does a cat tell you they have a headache, a mild fever, a neurological disorder? Mild symptoms will never be seen or reported, so the statistics on adverse reactions to cat vaccines will be seriously under-estimated. 

Even a severe reaction, enough to consult the vet, is likely to be played down and may never get reported. Another problem is that any reaction to a vaccine after a few days is not considered to be from the vaccine. So that will never be reported. Yet chronic affects are common, often many years later.

Clearly, the statistics on vaccine damage to cats, or to any animal, are going to be very inaccurate.

One vaccine at a time would be difficult enough for the body to handle, especially for an already unwell cat. (Which is not advised by common sense, but is also suggested in the insert.)

The common multi vaccine procedures make it much more difficult for the cat to rally.

In addition, vaccines are commonly given at the same time as other procedures are done, such as with sterilisation. All this at once challenges the recovery of even a healthy cat. 

Without going into the details of why cat vaccines can be dangerous, even ineffective, it's worth appreciating that wild cats are extremely successful. As long as they have prey available, they can tolerate almost any climate.

They can do this because their life style promotes a healthy immune system. And a healthy immune system does all the protecting necessary. That's its job.

The problem with domestic cats today is that their life style does NOT promote a healthy immune system

From the toxic, inappropriate and nutrient deficient commercial cat food, to being kept inside 24/7, to a high toxic load courtesy of the local vet, cats can really struggle to remain healthy.

Cats have a high requirement for quality animal protein. They hunt a variety of animals to achieve this. Now compare that with the junk in commercial cat food, that has a high carbohydrate content, supplemented by synthetic 'supplements'.

Meat needs calcium to be digested and utilised. In Nature that comes neatly packaged together. The prey comes with bones.

Consider an analogy. Put the wrong fuel in your car and it doesn’t work. Feed the wrong food to your cat and their health is poor.

So, most domestic cats fed commercial cat food are more prone to disease than their wild cousins. Cat vaccines cannot right this wrong.

The feeding of dry food for cats goes against everything healthy. Cats don't have a natural thirst. They rely on the blood of their prey for all their liquid needs.

Dry cat food inevitably lead to all the renal diseases in cats so common today.

Life expectancy in domestic cats has dramatically dropped to around 10 years of age. Yet, not long ago, upwards of 25 was not uncommon.

In the wild, cats remain on the ground for a lot of the time. The Earth has natural healing powers, not just for earthing. Exclusively indoor cats are denied this very valuable resource.

We all know how much most cats love heat. The best heat accompanies the healing rays of the sun. Again, this is denied most exclusively indoor cats.

Nature is already perfect. All we have to do is to adhere to her as best we can as we go about our lives.

Not everyone is in a position to allow their cat outside. However, everyone IS in a position to feed their cat according to their evolution. And that is the best place to start.

The right diet for anyone, according to their species, not only supports a healthy immune system, but can de-tox from all the past damage from cat vaccines, vet drugs and the toxic load in commercial cat food.

It doesn't have to be expensive.
